is there any truth to the fema death camps?
is it true the government has a weapon called haarp and the ringed lasers that can change the weather and the earths gravitational spin.
I would have loved to hear from Ron Paul.
I encourage everyone to research Dr. Ron Paul, just youtube him.
He’s got my vote and admiration. The organization ONE has become a lobbyist group, how dare they lobby in the name of charity. Read your history! These special interest groups are corrupting this country.
Ron Paul is the only candidate who differs. Submitting a video would be useless since this website is obviously aimed at making Americans feel obligated for the entire world’s misfortunes. We may live in a global society, but America has caused much of the problems in the other countries. It’s time we bite the bullet and accept the drastic changes which must ensue for us to quit sticking our noses into other everyone’s business. We need to clean up around our own backdoor first.
I’m voting for Paul!
I would like to know how you stand on medical pot? Will you decrimalize it?
Will you fix medicare to bennifit the people? ( to many are having to go with out)
Will you fix SSI and SSD? To help the peole no to hurt them? I dont understand why ya just cant raise the amount paid in so people would still get there SSD and SSI
I’m in something of a precarious position, as I am both a Ron Paul supporter and a ONE supporter. Now, many (likely most) hardcore libertarians believe in little to no public aid for humanitarian efforts. I find the economic principles at work sound, in that government subsidies typically result in more waste and less efficiency than the free market coupled with private philanthropy. However, not only is Ron Paul not quite as “cold” of a libertarian, as his economic plan (the most fiscally sound, by far) of ending the global empire and the welfare state would finally bring us out of the red…with spare change to be used as We The People see fit, including philanthropy. In such a presidency, we can decide how to use funds responsibly, including returning even more to the people for the campaign against extreme poverty. Now, extreme poverty and the AIDS pandemic are both emergencies, no doubt, and much of the nonprofit organizations under ONE are critically important in this fight. In a Paul presidency, ONE can refocus its efforts on private citizenry to achieve its funding goals (Paul worked in a nonprofit hospital, many times for free when people didn’t have the money), coupled with the trade policies and economic development plans via these organizations (much of which Paul would personally support, outside of the public dollar) for maximum effectiveness. In essence, while I still believe in a limited gov. role in funding compared to the libertarians (I’m more of a moderate conservative), a Paul presidency would be the ONLY fiscally responsible gov., and drastically reduced taxes would allow ONE to meet funding goals by providing results (that is, competition to meet demand of effective philanthropy) to its millions of enthusiastic supporters to contribute.
U.S. - global empire - inefficient welfare + free market = budget surplus and wealthier citizens overall = funding and research for AIDS/ending extreme poverty.
Why no video? I think the philosophic discrepancies would be hard to explain in a soundbite. Personally, I think his staff is probably swamped with the primaries and hasn’t really thought about it.
This is much more condensed than my composite approach to save space, so yeah. I feel like I have to justify myself to both sides, but oh well. I say what I believe.
Save our fiscal crisis, end the wars, and yes, beat AIDS and extreme poverty. Ron Paul ‘08.
I think Ron Paul would be the perfect candidate for 1796. His isolationist views & super-limited government fit perfectly into the post revolutionary war era. Unfortunately, he doesn’t understand how much the world, and the United States have changed since then. I deeply respect the principles of the writers of the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence, but Paul is such an extremist I just can’t possibly agree with him.
One example is when Ron Paul was a doctor he would voluntarily lower his cost for treating patients based on their ability to pay, and his unwillingness to accept federal tax payer funds. I greatly respect Dr Paul for his voluntary charity, but if he sincerely thinks all physicians will do this out of the goodness of their hearts, then he is living in a dream world. I agree that like taxation, government interference in our lives should be no larger than necessary — unfortunately, sometimes it is necessary to force people to do what is in their own best interest - both for themselves & society. Imagine if the federal government had never forced the southern states to put an end to lynching, for example.
Hey, at least now we have representation to go with the taxation. Now we the people can decide - through our votes - how much the government should tax, and where the government should spend those taxes.
I think globally, but I only act locally. In America, we don’t have to help anybody if we don’t want to. But I, as a Ron Paul supporter, am not a heartless isolationist. I help my neighbors in need– it’s called altruism! I recycle, donate blood, ride my bicycle everywhere, and sometimes I give fruit to the bums. But I don’t want my money going overseas when there are many who need help here at home! We made this country, and I would hope we could respect other countries in their effort to make it for themselves as well.
Now, if Ron Paul were in office, I would have more of my own money and be able to decide what to do with it. Yes, this implies drastic change–change I am willing to work for.
I’ve heard about ONE, but I am not a member/supporter of ONE because I don’t personally know the living conditions out there. Never will I support something I know little about. Someday I will though, as it is my individual liberty to save money and use it in my own means– such as traveling and tourism. Who knows, maybe one of these days I’ll study abroad and join GreenPeace. I’m only one.
Government should play no role in fixing the problems of the world. It is up to We the People as individuals and non-profit organizations and societies. Altruism should never be forced on us through Washington.
Peace.
Love.
Respect.
Ron Paul is not like any of the other Politicians, He tell people ,we the people, have a constitution lets live it. Not always want to hear, but what is.
Ron Paul 2008, looking forward to not living in corrupted future of status quo.
